This 48x36 Acrylic painting titled "Rise Up" began with a very colorful underpainting.
Because I was thinking of snow (!) I wanted it to be quite neutral in the end, but with color peeking through here and there. This would (I hope) suggest all that is fall, but becomes winter with the first snow.
I thought it needed the structure of the diagonal lines , and when I added them it became "Rise Up"!
